GP #10 Old Fashioned Choc. Pie

So basically this is an extremely fudgie brownie in a pie crust -
WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE!

Put your pie crust in the pie pan, mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl and pour into the pie shell!

Bake - no need to wait for it to cool just top it with whipped cream and eat!

Old Fashioned Chocolate Pie

6 T. butter
1/4 c. baking cocoa
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla
9-inch pie crust

Melt butter in a saucepan over med. heat; add cocoa and sugar, stirring well.  Remove from heat; add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.  Stir in milk and vanilla, blending well; pour into pie crust.  Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes.  Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes!

Now for the fun stuff - this is a great cookbook with a ton more recipes just as good as the 10 I cooked and shared - sooooo show me some love, leave a comment here, something like how much you love my blog, how funny I am, how it just makes your day when you get on the computer and see that I have posted - be sure you leave your name as email address too - I will pick a winner on Saturday!

  7. Doggone it! I do read your blog, but I missed commenting on this one. I probably wouldn't have won anyway. My Mom uses up all our luck on drawings and raffles.
